How do you sleep at night?
That's a serious question. Do you use a white noise machine? Or do you have blackout curtains? Do you use a sleep mask? It's not easy to get a full night's sleep, especially as you get older. It's not the simplest thing. Any little thing could wake you up in the night, to your chagrin. So most of us develop little crutches to help us get through those tough moments. We've developed the routines that work for us, and we try not to stray from them when we can. For me, it's putting on a little podcast when I can't fall asleep that takes the pressure off sleeping. If I'm not so immensely focused on sleeping, then it might actually happen. You have your version of that. There is no way you wouldn't if you've gotten this far in life. Memes might be part of the thing that helps you through the journey. There is no shame in this. Memes have gotten us many places in our lives, and they're not slowing down. The right meme can do so much for ourselves and our mental health. We don't have a choice but to sit down and enjoy them, because they're all we've got. Memes are there for us when nobody else is. They understand ourselves and our pain. They will rock us to sleep gently in the night and pat our hair to make us feel loved. So keep scrolling if you want some of that memeage in your life. You never know when you're going to need it, so you might as well stockpile them just in case.
