This girl needs to stop being so picky and start being grateful.

You can't expect your acquaintances to get you a spectacular birthday gift. It's silly to even expect birthday gifts from people you aren't that close with after a certain age. If you're older than 12, you should just be grateful that someone you're not particularly close to would choose to spend time with you on your birthday at all. 

Unless your mom has no idea what to buy you and is begging you to send her ideas for a birthday present, you shouldn't be picking out your own birthday presents that others are supposed to give to you. A birthday is not a baby shower or a wedding: they do not require registries, and it'd be strange to have one. You are at liberty to give people ideas of the kinds of things you'd like for your birthday, but if you're demanding that the people in your life give you specific, expensive things, you probably need to get a grip as soon as humanly possible.
